Saturday Night at the Geraldton Bowling club saw the beginning of our weekends events... and it was on for young and young at heart. 
After a huge feast of Pizza's and Icecreams (thanks Mum) teams made their way out onto the pitch/court/arena/big grassy thing to start the Bowls tournament.
There was some good hearted banter and some good old
fashioned out and out sledging and of course many cries of "sorry, sorry, ooops Sorry!" and that was mainly from Rae's team.
Granma was a keen spectator and may have even given a few little coaching tips to the lucky team that was playing closest to her. 
It was a great event and it was great to see everybody get in on the action and enjoy the brisk Autumn evening.

Loved the pile of Pizzas, didn't get to see them like that, only saw them on the table all spread out.. Janita.
