Lawn Bowls BONANZA 22 April 06

Saturday Night at the Geraldton Bowling club saw the beginning of our weekends events... and it was on for young and young at heart.

After a huge feast of Pizza's and Icecreams (thanks Mum) teams made their way out onto the pitch/court/arena/big grassy thing to start the Bowls tournament.

There was some good hearted banter and some good old fashioned out and out sledging and of course many cries of "sorry, sorry, ooops Sorry!" and that was mainly from Rae's team.

Granma was a keen spectator and may have even given a few little coaching tips to the lucky team that was playing closest to her.
It was a great event and it was great to see everybody get in on the action and enjoy the brisk Autumn evening.

Our fingers are crossed that we will have something spectacular for the 24th April..... Our Wedding day.

its getting nearer..

Oh my oh my oh my..... only a matter of days to go before we are Mr and Mrs!
We have finished our bonboneirre thingys, table decorations are sorted, wedding vows kinda sorted.... and we are polishing our team speech.
Guests are starting to arrive, I have finished work and I am now officially on official holidays - YIPPEEE!!

Tomorrow begins the pre-wedding appointments to get "Prettied-up" for the big day. Lashes tinted and legs defuzzed (ow) We will also collect our Wedding bands that have been engraved for the occasion (Dave & I will not have any excuses for not remembering our Anniversary)

Friday I am stealing Dave away for a few hours and he is going to get spoilt as were going to a Day spa for a massage and treats - I am really looking forward to that!

Saturday morning will be a hectic run around session on the prowl for last minute flowers - it will be cheaper this way.. then we lead up to the LAWN BOWLS BONANZA. I cannot bowl very well but I am looking forward to having a great catch up session with everyone.

Sunday morning will be checking up on the Floral superstar that is my mother, to see how she is coping..... and then onto a nice lunch type picniccy thing with games and fun.... and then run to the venue get it all jazzed up and then............. relax???

Monday Morning will see me and a gang of people decsending upon a cafe and having breakkie, then I shall get my hair done... go back to Mum n Dads for makeup - lunch - and dressed ready to partake in a most momentous event!

OK now I am starting to get nervy again - hope this little update keeps everyone in the loop.
A big Hi to Cousin Sandra n Steve and kids in the US - we so wish you were here for this - you are very much in our thoughts!!!
and also Hello to Cousins Andrew and Paul - your Mum is doing fine - she's only a little pink from being in the sun for a few seconds.... these Poms sure do cook quick!
