Trackers Lodge - Our Room - before and after

-
Before we had a chance to really unpack - it was mayhem!!

Yeehaa we got busy

and look! we got it looking a lot better
and we realised...
Our room is actually bigger than our Caravan

and... "oh happy day"
we have a full ensuite!!

Our room with the View - FALLS CREEK June 09

This is the assortment of views from our rooms window...

Pic 1 - we arrived and there was snow EVERYWHERE!!! We had to "trudge" to our room!
Pic 2 - things are changing - snow is dropping off rooves in big dumping loads... watch your head!
Pic 3 - been here about a week and the snow is gone from the rooves and the grass is well and truly back
Pic 4 - the next day the snow returned overnight - by afternoon - it was gone again!

Wombat Hunting in Wilsons Promontory June 09

We stayed a couple of WET RAINY days at Wilsons Prom... we went for a bit of a Hike, Dave went for a surf and then we went WOMBAT HUNTING!!!
These cheeky little fella's were everywhere and made themselves at home - constantly on the prowl for some free food..

Then we found one - a real live munching food orientated WOMBAT!!

St Kilda Community Garden & Melbourne Botanic Garden

In Melbourne we took off on the scooter and saw loads of things - we went to the Botanic Gardens - and it feels like Autumn..

On another day we went to St Kilda and had to stop at the street that has all the yummy cakes (down the road from Luna Park) if you've been there - you know what I'm on about.... mmm
So we bought a tart.
Afterwards we wandered through the St Kilda community gardens, formerly the St Kilda Bowling Green.. there are some great creative ideas... and quite a few whacky ones too...

I love that this one is made from garden tongs...

A pirate sailing ship that we are thinking would look good in our front garden..
the cutest little fairy garden... very girly
Cowboy chicken...
Funky statue
These noisy little guys were absolutely rampant in this tree - there would've been nearly 50 to 60 of them...

Panny's Chocolate Factory - Phillip Island June 09

Phillip Island = not just penguins!Welcome to Panny's Chocolate world - please don't lick the walls....

The smell of chocolate as you wander around is really quite distracting. mmmm..
This little bad-boy below is the "squirter" you press a button - move the nozzle around and "voila" you have your very own personalised Choccie!

There is a hole in the chocolate plumbing...
Every 3 minutes 400 kilos of Chocolate gets dumped through this waterfall!

This is one tonne of Chocolate - there is a counterweight that we jumped on - along with eight lovely japanese tourists to try and lift the chocolate - we couldn't do it!
Dame Edna, made up with the individual chocolates below...

mmmm - chocolate coated bacon anyone?

Pannys Chocolate world is definitely worth a little visit!
