Eagles Game in Melbourne 29 May 09

We went to watch the Eagles while we were in Melbourne - and guess who got asked to help hold up Adam Harvey's 150th banner??

Yep, lucky Dave.

no they didn't win.

Puzzleworld in Wanaka NZ

Wanaka was a lovely little spot - one Dave had talked about from his previous ski trips. In Wanaka we found an awesome spot called "PUZZLEWORLD" Where you feel big and small in the same room... The place was full of mazes...
IT WAS A-MAZE-ING!!!
Don't be alarmed....
It's just a painting....

LUGE in Rotorua NZ

We had it on good authority that we had to try this Luge riding in Rotorua.....
Glad we did - it was the best laugh we had in ages! Especially when Dave ran off the road and into a tree.... I laughed and laughed until he smashed into me next!

lovely hats eh??
but at least it didn't smell bad like the rest of Rotorua!
Here I am thinking I am ZOOMING super fast down the Luge, when I find that people are queued up for miles behind me.... THEY WEREN'T HAPPY! So I am not the great speed demon I thought I was. siiiggghhhhh...

NEW ZEALAND... continues

Huka Falls Prawn Farm near Taupo...
They had an awesome driving range where you have to try and hit the balls into a floating ring and you can win some moneyDavie had a fair crack at it and got super close several times - much to the awe and amusement of the watching crowd.
But just couldn't make it...

However there were closer shots for less $ rewards..

The next day we returned so he could have another go, and instead of trying for the top prize, he tried one of the closer goals....

and WON $100 cold hard cash!!

Even More of our New Zealand Adventures

So we went on a chopper....

I have never been on one before and I have always wanted to...
I am now over that.

Whyalla? Why not?

Seems like forever ago - but we got to Whyalla in early January and met up with our very good freinds Kelly and Mick and a half baked bub!

They were on their way back to WA again to settle back down in Bunbury. They have been travelling since Dave and I got married... nearly three years, but now it was time to head back home to have their baby.

We went out for tea and Mick decided he needed a nice big Schnitzel.... lucky for him we went to the right place! Where we went had the "Really big Schnitzel" and it was..

and he ate it... all (yes his shirt says "Welcome to the Gun Show and points to his "bulging" biceps)

We had such a great time catching up with them - and wish we could do it all over again.... and by the way - they had a baby girl, and her name is Emily.
Yes, that's right, awwww.
